About the Masters Degree Program …
HarvestNet took a bold
step to achieve a new level of equipping for the Body of Christ in
northeast Ohio. We have entered into an agreement with The
Orlando Institute to offer qualified candidates a two-year accredited
Master of Christian Ministry degree program starting in the Fall of 2005. This new
program streamlines our ministry preparation training and adds greater
value to that training.
The Orlando Institute is an evangelical
graduate school of theology located at the headquarters site of
Campus Crusade for Christ. Begun in 1948 by the now deceased Dr.
Bill Bright, Campus Crusade is the largest Christian ministry in the
world, and hugely respected.

n Is HarvestNet for
you?
I have a friend, a former HarvestNet
student, who was hired to be a staff pastor at a good sized
growing church in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from college, my
friend worked for a large corporation for several years. In fact, he
did this right up until he resigned to accept the open door to
vocational ministry in Columbus. He is like many of you. He worked his
job and took HarvestNet classes. He was a husband and father raising a
family with several small children, and took classes. He sacrificed
time, effort and finances – in order to take classes. And he, like
many of you, enrolled because he believed God had called him to
prepare for vocational ministry. He also understood that God’s
Word does not idly say, “Study to show yourself approved unto God,
a workman who does not need to be ashamed….”
Recently he shared a testimony
about how thankful he was to God to be able to see a dream unfold that
he has carried since before he entered college. He spoke of how he
realized that if the Lord had really called him to vocational
ministry, then he needed to be more intentional about preparing
himself, and that’s why he enrolled in HarvestNet. And then he said
something very simple that struck me as quite obvious, but at the same
time quite profound. I want to share it with you. He said: “Once
opportunity comes, there’s no time left to prepare.” That is a
very mature understanding of life as well.
If you feel similarly,
and you believe HarvestNet training can help you to prepare for more
effective ministry, then consider the STEPS TO BEGIN listed below to
launch the process.
Regular registration deadline for
